Name:Nahuel Palumbo
Bio:

Now, I am teaching programming at two national universities in Argentina (UNQ & UTN).
I am a member of Uqbar Foundation, a group of professionals, engineers, and researchers that promotes the development of computer science education.
I am one of the main contributors to Wollok, a programming language designed to teach and learn object-oriented programming.

I did my PhD on the Metacompilation of Baseline JIT Compilers. We developed a metacompiler called Druid for Pharo.
I made some contributions to the Pharo Virtual Machine (garbage collector, interpreter, compilers) and to the language itself (bug fixes, UI improvements).

I completed my engineering degree at the Technological National University in Argentina.
Our thesis project was Wollok Game, a module inside Wollok to create video games easily.
Today the tool is used by many students, and some of the games are presented in an annual inter-university contest.
