HyperDoc is a research project about growing a hypermedia substrate for knowledge workers that integrates code as a representation of knowledge. This paper does not provide a description, because the on-line demo should be self-explanatory. Instead, the following sections focus on motivation, research and development strategy, implementation choices, and related work.
